The GPFI Journey

2000 | Our Incorporation

WSP-FMC Nigeria Limited, was incorporated on August 21, 2002, as the first facility management company in Nigeria, then called FMC Nigeria Ltd.

2003 | WSP Group Membership

The company became part of WSP Group Plc, a Global Engineering Consulting, Design, Project Management Business in over 100 countries of the world.

2012 | Strategic Merger and National Recognition

Merger with Domme Facilities Management Ltd; one of Nigeria’s leading Facilities Management Companies, to strengthen the company’s capability in the local Nigerian market. WSPFMC was voted the best FM Company in Nigeria.

2013 | Global Restructuring

In 2013, WSP SA went through a global restructuring leading to diversifying from Facilities Management in the only two countries operating FM in the group; South Africa and Nigeria.

2014 | Name Change

In 2014, the shareholders of the company decided to change the company’s name after the exit of WSP to Global Properties & Facilities International Ltd, with the company expected to operate in Nigeria and West Africa.

2018 | Change in Shareholding Structure

Domme FM Ltd became the majority shareholder after divestment by African Capital Alliance. The board of the company was restructured with Directors representing Capital Alliance leaving and new Directors representing Domme FM Ltd coming on board.

2021 | Pan-African Expansion

To expand our capacity to serve, opening of new offices in Seychelles, Zimbabwe, Angola, and Mauritius.
